Sepulki (or sepulcas, scrupts in English translation) are fictional, mysterious, and undefined objects from Stanislaw Lem’s works, most notably in The Star Diaries. They serve as a satire of definitions within scientific, bureaucratic, or encyclopedic contexts, as the texts explain the purpose of sepulki only by stating they are used for sepulation.
